SIEGRID BANGYAY is a potter from Sagada. She learned her trade from American potter, Archie Stapleton, a son of Episcopalian missionaries assigned in Sagada in the 1960’s. Siegrid works extensively with local clay and glaze materials. She has exhibited in local and international exhibitions alongside contemporary ceramic artists from South East Asia.
